Back to the Futurama
From Ausiello comes the news that long-canceled Matt Groening cartoon Futurama has been picked up by Comedy Central for a 26-episode order next season. This drew a decided "meh" from me, but then I was never that into the show. This qualifies as news though, and I'm sure they are looking to replicate the return of Family Guy following its foolish cancellation. The difference there was that Fox renewed it's own show and has pimped the hell out of it for the rest of its existence (weird broadcasting schedule aside).
No word yet on when it will premiere or in what timeslot, but you can look forward to the return of Caucasian Protagonist, Cyclopean Violent-Haired Love Interest, and Acerbic Scowling Robot this Fall on Comedy Central!
