Clockwise from top left: Annie Wersching, Christina Hendricks, Elizabeth Mitchell,
Connie Britton, Katherine Heigl
Connie Britton, Katherine Heigl
And I thought supporting actress in a comedy was tough. I'll be honest, it's not even worth putting any kind of caveat (I think I just like saying caveat) on this post, I haven't seen 4 out of these 5 shows. As a result, these nominations are completely worthless and you should probably stop reading.
Annie Wersching, Renee Walker on 24
I haven't seen one second of the 7th season of 24. I know it's regarded by many as a good show. I think she was the main woman on the show, supporting Kiefer Sutherland. So she gets a nom.
Christina Hendricks, Joan Holloway on Mad Men
Until today, I hadn't seen any of this show. Just this evening, I've watched two episodes and yeah, she's pretty good I guess. The show's not bad either.
This is absolute bullshit and I can't believe you're still reading. What are you thinkin'?
Next up is Katherine Heigl, Dr. Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy
Uhh. Yeah she's attractive. Based on previews I saw, she had cancer this year. That's a good way to rake in some gold.
Elizabeth Mitchell, Juliet Burke on Lost
Ah, the only show on here I watch. I wonder what that means for her chances. She is the only good actress on Lost. And she's good.
Connie Britton, Tami Taylor on Friday Night Lights
I heard this is a good show. I liked her when she was on Spin City. Her on screen husband is friend of the blog (and personal hero of mine since the days of Early Edition) Kyle Chandler. Yeah, she's alright.
The winner: ELIZABETH MITCHELL
Wow, I can't believe you got this far. What a shame. I feel embarrassed a bit. What a shoddy post this was. Hopefully, more quality to come. I need to watch more TV.
